Tripomatic Trip Planner & Maps App Reviews

In April 2014 I used this app to create a trip to Japan. I loved it. Fast forward to Aug 2015 and everything has changed. The Maps have changed from Google maps which has loads of content to OpenstreetMap which has next to none. Also causing the loss of transportation modes such as bus, rail. I like the new interface but without a quality map and functionality this app is useless.

Fabulous tool for travelers!!!!

This app is an absolute must have for travellers. I travelled Europe for 3 months with it and it saved me a lot of hassle. Highly recommend.

Love how pretty it looks but also very practical. You can add custom places. Plan your trip by day and it gives u gps and eta option. Only thing I wish they can work on is the preloaded places instead of adding custom places for some of the popular POIs.

This app is great. Used it to plan our itinerary for our trip to London/Paris. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars as our next trip is to Samana and it was not helpful for smaller tropical locations which hopefully will be added in future updates.

Works flawless. Offline maps worth every penny.

Works well, has many attraction options. No ads or glitches that make the app close. We are driving down to our destination. I wish we could add things to do on the way to our destination. Good app though.

They offer a premium version which I have tried twice now to purchase. First they offer a price in the wrong currency, and by the time they respond to my inquiry the sale is over and they wont honour the advertised price even though they apologize for their mistake. So I wait for the next "sale" of "premium". I try to buy it and they say to select "offline maps" in order to take advantage of their special price. Absolutely nothing shows up in order to upgrade to "premium". So, I write them about about this and no one responds. And when they do, no doubt the "sale" will be over. Based on my experience so far this whole "premium" thing is equivalent to a scam.

So far I really like it. Would be 5 stars if there was flight, train, bus booking information. Also a way to input information about tickets purchased.

I want to travel more now! Its so easy with this app... Specially with roadtrip!

I love this app. There are places I wouldnt have known to visit if it werent for this app. I also love how it creates an itinerary that works but you also have the choice to arrange it the way you want. Its necessary for someone who is as disorganized and easily overwhelmed as me.

Listen, the app itself is amazing. A super resource. But, as a marketing pro, I have to say the name change from Tripomatic to Sygic is just plain dumb. Whats a Sygic? Not intuitive or intelligent naming at all. Like going from "iPhone" to "Potato." What the...?

Please let me choose which map program I can use for routing? I dont have your map app. :(

Tripomatic is very helpful and handy in helping me to plan my vacation. Great apps!

Ive got it recently and used it in my Italy trip. Its quite helpful and worthy to have it. Recommended.
